On a very hot day last weekend, it was a credit to all teams that participated in the Woodbridge Cup knockout. The skill level was very high for this early in the season, with the condition of the grounds making it more bearable for the players. After a very tough first half final, the Tigers eventually ran out the winners against Warriors, 16 points to 7. Eugowra defeated Cargo in the plate final 12 points to 4 with Eugowra’s fitness holding strong and making the difference between the two teams.
