Swimmers in action at swimming club last Friday.
Swimming Club started back on January 14th, following a three week break over the Christmas period.
Although numbers have not been at full capacity for the past two weeks, with many families still on holidays, the swimmers have had a lot of fun. The highlight of both weeks has been the mass relays with two teams of around 20 swimmers each fighting it out for the bragging rights. The first week back saw an absolutely photo finish!!
Swimmers have continued to improve and many have set new PBs these holidays. We have also had some new swimmers join, bring our membership up to 120 swimmers!!
This Sunday, 30th January, the Canowindra Swimming Club is holding their annual development carnival for swimmers from the Mountains & Plains region. Swimmers from Bathurst, Orange, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, Cudal, Grenfell and even Condobolin will be attending.
