Markets Are Back: The Palms Markets will be back this Friday afternoon 18th March from 4-8pm at ‘The Palms’ in Gaskill Street. Featuring arts, craft and food stalls along with live music, why not head along for an enjoyable evening.
Pop Up Vaccination Clinic: Will be held on Thursday 24th March from 12-5pm at the Canowindra Community Health Centre. There will also be a vaccination clinic at Eugowra Multipurpose on Wednesday 23rd March from 12-5pm. No appointments are needed as this is a walk in clinic offering Pfizer booster doses. People who wish to come along must have waited at least 3 months after receiving a 2nd primary dose of vaccine. Please bring evidence of your previous doses, some form of ID and a Medicare card. Only those aged 16yrs and over are eligible for booster doses.
NSW National Park and Wildlife Closure: The Mt Canobolas summit precinct will be closed for the next 4 months. NPWS are redeveloping the parking area and lookout at the top of the mountain, to make it a new and improved visitor hub for the Central West area. Walking tracks on the mountain will remain open but there will be no access to the summit from any of the tracks.
Eugowra CWA News: The next meeting will be on Friday 8th April at the rooms at 11am to discuss the opening of an ‘Op Shop’ in the rooms on Saturday 21st May 8am to 2pm and every following third Saturday. Guest speaker at the April meeting will be Stacey Whittaker who is standing in the Calare electorate for the One Nation party at the upcoming federal election. The photo below of the CWA Eugowra Branch was taken for the Orange Regional Museum as part of the centenary celebrations of CWA of NSW, numerous items have also been acquired from Eugowra to be part of the display in May in Orange.
