Brian Swords
How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? 18 months in Canowindra. My family moved here as my wife is a teacher at the local primary school. We love the town and community and there is always something going on or something to do.
Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work? I work at Incitec Pivot Fertilisers. My work takes me to many different places around the country, it has allowed me to see and experience a lot that I may not have had the opportunity to if I didn’t do what I do.
What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends? Anything that involves a few beers with friends, rugby or in summer, water skiing and hanging with the fam at the pool. Making pancakes for the kids on the weekend and having a bonfire at our block.
What are you really good at? Making a small job really big by saying “it will be right, I can fix that…..later”.
What is your pet hate? People that are bad drivers or driving really, really slowly.
If you could have a super power what would it be and why? To always be right and for Jess to be wrong. Doesn’t happen often.
Tell us about your best holiday ever?
Bali, with great friends, plenty of drinks in the swim up bar, scootering around the countryside and the amazing service and friendly locals.
What makes your day? Having a strong Delice coffee to kick off my day, coming home to my happy family and getting some loving cuddles from my kids.
