Artist Peter Poulet was commissioned by Health Infrastructure to create a 180 square-metre wall painting representing the stories and history of the Hunter Valley to cover three walls in the double-storey entry of the new Maitland Hospital.
In partnership with NSW Health Infrastructure and the Western NSW Local Health District, we’re excited to announce a new opportunity for artists in our community to make a lasting impact on the new Cowra Hospital.
This is part of a curated art program with NSW Health, Arts OutsWest, Cowra Regional Art Gallery and The Corridor Project, designed to create calming and healing spaces for staff, patients, and their families.
Creatives with a relationship to the Cowra region are invited to register their Expression of Interest (EOI) for two key opportunities.
Interested artists are invited to a Q&A session to be hosted by Cowra Regional Art Gallery on Wednesday 19 March at 10am.
Facilitated by NSW Health Infrastructure and Arts OutWest, Artists will have the opportunity to find out more about the project to assist their applications.
