Make hosting friends and family easier this Christmas with a free Central West NSW Touring Map.
The free map aims to inspire people to explore the region, take back roads to new towns and villages, and stay a little longer.
“The dispersal of visitors throughout our region is vital for the tourism economy and this map is a great new resource,” said Jenny Bennett, Executive Officer, Central NSW Joint Organisation.
“Locals welcoming visiting friends and relatives (VFR) these holidays should pop into their local Visitor Information Centre and collect a copy, its filled with great ideas on what to do with loved ones and how to get there,” added Jenny.
The Map is the ultimate guide for locals and visitors with detailed road maps identifying key cities, towns, villages and National Parks.
It features Oberon, Bathurst, Orange, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, Grenfell and Lachlan, and how to access these regions within a larger map of NSW.
Featuring 10 local government areas across the Central West, the Map is the ultimate guide for locals and visitors with detailed road maps identifying key cities, towns, villages and National Parks. Each individual region has its own panel with the best attractions, things to see, do and taste.
While digital maps are popular, there is still huge demand for printed maps as well. So far 25,000 maps have been printed and are being distributed.
The A1 map format features beautiful imagery and inspiring editorial content on the region’s world class history, food and wine, family attractions, nature and adventure and the Sculpture down the Lachlan trail.
Launched by Central NSW Joint Organisation the map and is a collaboration between 10 LGA’s and was produced by The Tourism Group.
