Canowindra is lucky to have its very own dance school, and now a place where parents can also host children’s parties.
Ali Willis started Alikinetic Dance in 2011, and in 2014 moved to the studio at Canowindra Showground, giving local kids a permanent dance school, something Ali didn’t have as a child growing up here.
Aside from keeping kids active, and exploring their creativity, Ali finds the friendships between her and her students the most rewarding part.
“The friendships I have with all my dance students is the most important thing of all to me. Some of my dancers have been doing lessons with me since they were 3 years old and are now entering high school,” said Ali.
“Seeing my dancers on stage always makes me proud, they work so hard all year and overcome many challenges to perform in front of their families,” explains Ali.
Some of her students also go on to assist in her business and are working towards becoming teachers.
In 2022, Ali grew her business further by adding all-inclusive indoor kids’ parties. The parties are customisable and available for all ages from toddlers to teens. Ali customises the studio to suit you, and you can choose from a variety of themes such as ninja warrior, gymnastics/acro, dance class (in any style) and disco.
The price includes digital invitations, party food, drinks, lolly bags, games, photo booth with props, music, decorations, set-up and pack-up.
