The Canowindra Branch of the Country Women’s Association of NSW gathered in December 2018 to celebrate the successful acquisition of a grant of $25,000 through the NSW State Government’s Community Building Partnerships program.
“It’s my pleasure to announce that the Canowindra CWA was successful in their application for a grant through the Community Building Partnership Grants Program.
They have been awarded $25,000 in funding towards renovation of existing toilet facilities up to WH&S disabled standards,” said Mr Donato.
The project work which began in the second week of January will be carried out by local tradesmen Steve Thompson and Matt Rice and will be completed by the end of February.
Local CWA members Bev Taylor and Fran French applied for the grant on behalf of the CWA.
